We always recommend feeding newly planted and established roses twice a year – at the beginning of the growing season (mid-March to April) and again in mid-summer after the first flush of flowers. David Austin’s organic-based Rose Food is a unique blend of fertiliser containing the essential nutrients needed to promote healthy growth and abundant flowering.
David Austin recommends planting roses with their very own Mycorrhizal Fungi. It helps to create better root systems, resulting in greater vigour, higher resistance to drought and more abundant flowering. The broad mix of fungi stimulates root growth, creating a secondary root system which encourages the uptake of nutrients from the soil. A single 90g pouch will treat up to three roses. The pouch is resealable, keeping the fungi fresh for another use.

The take-up of Italian stock has been strong and interest in some of the more unusual lines very positive. There is a huge range of lovely plant material out there, we can't possibly stock it all. If you need particular varieties in large sizes or formats (eg. standards or trained) I can get them in quite quickly - but I need to order them ASAP, that is before March 21st - for the next delivery which will be with us the first week of April
